Members' Benefits

PAS is the united voice of all Saskatchewan pharmacists and pledges to provide members with access to exceptional professional and personal assistance and service. PAS members enjoy a wide range of benefits including:

Advocacy and Negotiations

PAS negotiates and is responsible to strategically position itself in the best interests of all Saskatchewan pharmacists and pharmacies. PAS promotes the worth and value of pharmacists in all sectors of pharmacy practice including community, hospital, ambulatory and primary care. Our strategic plan outlines PAS' plan to deliver the best possible service, assistance and support members.

PAS works with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists to ensure that when formal complaints are launched against pharmacists, proper and fair protocol and procedures are being followed.

Insurance

PAS ensures that members receive the necessary Liability Insurance required by the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists seeking licensure. Discounted rates and nation-wide coverage of $2,000,000 in Professional Liability Malpractice Insurance (optional additional liability available) are provided to member pharmacists.

Members also have access to other effective low cost packages including Home, Tenant and Condo, Commercial Pharmacy and Group Plans (pharmacy owners), Individual Term Life and Disability, Group Health and Dental Benefits and Critical Illness. Professional Practice Development, Support and Leadership

Go to PAS Annual Conference here for more information.

Board and Committee Service

Member pharmacists and pharmacy students have the opportunity to represent pharmacists' needs and serve the profession by becoming a member of the PAS Board of Directors or on one of several PAS Committees.
