PACT Program

Training

Welcome to PACT Training!

The PACT program is now integrated  into  the PAS website. Below are descriptions of the course modules with links to the online training. Pharmacists and pharmacy students in Saskatchewan can take PACT online training for free.

PACT 1 and 2 Training are the basis of the PACT program. These modules are built with the knowledge that pharmacists will be providing the full smoking cessation program.  However, other health care providers can take the training. PACT has additional specialty training modules which supplement the primary training. CEUs for the modules are provided beside the descriptions below.

Other healthcare professionals can take PACT training for a $100 fee through the Continuing Professional Development for Pharmacy Professionals (CPDPP).  CPDPP hosts PACT online training. Currently, PACT Training is only available in this online format.  Pharmacists can take the training at their leisure but will need to register with CPDPP. Pharmacists and pharmacy students can  email   michelle.james@skpharmacists.ca to receive the sponsorship code. Please note the sponsorship code is only available to current Saskatchewan pharmacists and pharmacy students.
