PAS ensures that members receive the necessary Liability Insurance required by the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals seeking licensure. Membership Assistance Program (Counselling)
PAS provides for pharmacists' health and well-being by offering personal support programs and assistance. Advocacy and Negotiations
PAS negotiates and is responsible to strategically position itself in the best interests of all Saskatchewan pharmacists and pharmacies. PAS promotes the worth and value of pharmacists in all sectors of pharmacy practice including community, hospital, ambulatory and primary care. Our strategic plan outlines PAS' plan to deliver the best possible service, assistance and support members.
PAS works with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals to ensure that when formal complaints are launched against pharmacists, proper and fair protocol and procedures are being followed.
Property and Personal Insurance Discounts

- Home Tenant and Condo Insurance
The above types of insurance are offered through Wynward Insurance at a group rate, which enables members' access to these plans at a lower cost than would otherwise be available.
This insurance are offered through Manulife. The disability plan is very appealing to Pharmacists because of the regular occupation to age 65 definition in the policy wording. The disability plans can also be used to enhance a member's existing group disability insurance plan.
This insurance is available to individual pharmacists through Saskatchewan Blue Cross; the only stipulation is that the pharmacist must be working a minimum of 20 hours weekly on average.
- Commercial Pharmacy and Group
This insurance are available to Pharmacy owners.
- Critical Illness

Professional Development Discounts (PAS and CPhA)
In a self-regulating profession like pharmacy, pharmacists have an obligation to life-long learning and professional development. PAS ensures that pharmacists are provided access and information about upcoming professional development sessions and programs. Conference Discounts (PAS and CPhA)
Members receive reduced rates on the Annual PAS Conference and the CPhA national conference.
