Did you know?

For individuals who are living with ostomy, the Ostomy Canada Society and The Canadian Association for Enterostomal Therapy Nurses have produced a Disability Tax Credit Pamphlet to provide information to individuals. Ostomy patients are eligible to apply for the Disability Tax Credit through the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA). This pamphlet informs pharmacists on how to assist the patient filling out their application.

The Disability Tax Credit pamphlet is available by contacting the national office of Ostomy Canada Society by phone 1-888-969-9698 or by email info1@ostomycanada.ca.

The pamphlet can also be downloaded here.
