Temporary Pharmacists during the COVID-19 Pandemic
This page is dedicated for Temporary Pharmacists who have been granted temporary licensure from the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Those who wish to sign up as a temporary pharmacist to help on the front lines will need temporary liability insurance.
For those who are signing up there are downloadable fillable forms below that that can be filled out and sent back electronically to PAS. Please note, do not send in the forms via mail due to COVID-19. Those who are signing up to help provide relief during the pandemic will not be charged for their liability insurance. Yes, pharmacists who are signing up as temporary relief pharmacists receive a temporary, limited PAS membership in order to access information on the member website.
2. What is the cost of my PAS membership?
Those who are signing up as a temporary pharmacist during the COVID-19 pandemic do not have to pay for their limited PAS membership. Applicants will need to fill out a form for our records.
3. How long is my temporary PAS membership in place for?
Your temporary membership is effective from May 4, 2020 until June 30, 2021.
4. What is the cost of my temporary liability insurance?
PAS is offering the liability insurance at no charge for temporary pharmacists. However applicants will need to fill out an insurance form.
5. How long is my temporary liability insurance in place for?
Your liability insurance is effective from May 4, 2020 until June 30, 2021.
6. As a temporary pharmacist, do I receive all of the PAS benefits?
Those who have signed up to be temporary relief pharmacists will receive access to the PAS website only. The temporary pharmacists will not receive access to the other PAS benefits at this time.
