The above types of insurance are offered through Wynward Insurance at a group rate, which enables members' access to these plans at a lower cost.Individual Term Life and Disability
This insurance is offered through Manulife. The disability plan is very appealing to pharmacists because of the regular occupation to age 65 definition in the policy wording. The disability plans can also be used to enhance a member's existing group disability insurance plan.Group Health and Dental Benefits
This insurance is available to individual pharmacists through Saskatchewan Blue Cross; the only stipulation is that the pharmacist must be working a minimum of 20 hours weekly on average.Commercial Pharmacy and Group
This insurance is available to pharmacy owners.Critical Illness
This type of insurance is available to members and spouses. There is no medical underwriting required, only a six-question application.
